for your pets in the safe and familiar surroundings of
your own home, rather than the stressful (and potentially hazardous) atmosphere of a kennel or daycare facility.

and Cleanup Services
to assist busy pet parents by saving you time, gas, and
aggravation of errands and tedious chores.

BENEFITS OF PROFESSIONAL
IN-HOME PET CARE
Peace of mind - Entrust your pets and home
to an experienced, reliable, adult caregiver
Reduced stress on pets because they remain
in their own homes
Pets are protected from exposure to
illnesses and parasites of other animals
Pets stay on their regular routines -
No need to adapt to a new environment or diet
In-home visits by a pet sitter serve as a crime deterrent
by making your house appear occupied when you are away
No more inconveniencing friends and neighbors!
"Thank you so much for taking wonderful care of our boys. I did not worry about them at all while we were out of town. It was great to come home & find Rocky and Cisco so happy! We're already planning our next trip." Ann P., Florence
"We are very glad we found Stacey to help us with our dogs and cat! We hated to board them when we went on vacation and now we don't have to. They can stay at home and Stacey takes care of them like they are her own. This service has made our lives so much easier! Call Diggity Dog, your pets will thank you!"
Amanda P., Jackson
"Thank you for taking care of all the animals. It is great to know that they are well taken care of when we are away." Mary O., Ridgeland
"Diggity Dog Pet Care is just a lifesaver! Stacey is wonderful with my 2 dogs. She gives them their potty breaks when I am at work and she also took care of them when I was on vacation. It is reassuring to have a responsible adult I can trust to take care of everything. I would recommend her services to anyone!"
Nikki W., Florence
"I was so worried about leaving my two dogs while on vacation. Diggity Dog was PERFECT! Stacey was so wonderful with Giselle and Tucker. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone." Leann S., Brandon
MEASURED-MEAL DIET VS. "GRAZING"
Keeping your pet on a regular feeding schedule and controlling
portion size is healthier than free-choice feeding (grazing)
such as with automatic feeders.
• A measured-meal diet helps maintain a healthy weight for your pet
• Pets on controlled diets have an increased life span of about two years *
• The onset of chronic diseases is delayed by about two years *
• Regularly scheduled mealtimes followed by regularly scheduled
"potty break" times make housetraining easier

HAVE YOUR PET BATHED & GROOMED REGULARLY!
It's a fact: ALL DOGS NEED GROOMING.
Depending on the breed, some require professional grooming
while others need only a bath and brushout. Keeping your dog on a
regular grooming schedule will reduce shedding, keep skin and coat
healthy, and help prevent or detect health problems such as
growths or skin infections. Your pet will be happier because he will
be clean, comfortable, and more pleasant to be around!
Here are some guidelines for your dog's grooming needs:
Brushout- 3 to 4 times a week. Brushing helps remove pests, burrs,
& tangles, and distributes oils that keep skin & coat healthy. Medium-
and long-coated breeds will develop mats if not brushed regularly.
Severely matted dogs must be shaved down and their coats regrown.
Better to be proactive and maintain the coat year round.
Ear cleaning- weekly. Odor or discharge from the ears may indicate
an infection. If you notice these signs, CONSULT YOUR VET.
Nail trim- monthly. Overgrown nails make walking difficult and may
lead to deformed feet.
Bath- every 4 to 6 weeks (more often in summer, less often in winter).
Cut- every 6 weeks for long-coated breeds.
